On January 11, 2013, BuddyPress 1.6.3 was released to the public. 1.6.5 fixes 1 security issue potentially allowing access to the ‘delete-account’ Settings screen for users that should not normally have that privilege.

On January 24, 2013, BuddyPress 1.6.4 was released to the public. This is a maintenance and security update. For Version 1.6.4, the database version (bp-db-version in wp_options) was 6066, and the Trac revision was 6746. Summary Improve ajax input validation in bp-default/ajax.php (r6745).
